Accounting Manager – Contract Position
InTune Business Advisors LLC, a Pittsburgh-based consulting firm, seeks an Accounting Manager to provide financial leadership to one of our clients. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment. Primary responsibilities include:
- Performing monthly reconciliations and closings
- Providing the owner with financial and management reports
- Budgeting
- Drafting and implementing policies and procedures
- Coordinating with the Company’s external tax accountant
- Other duties as required
Technical and functional requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5-7 years of experience in monthly closing, financial reporting, and financial management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated planning and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to learn on the fly
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
